Positive Future without Negative Words

A great message preached by Joyer Meyer today at joycemeyer.org..

"Believe it in our hearts and confess it with our mouths" summarises Rom 10:9-10. Release the power of God's words and claim the victories and breakthroughs in the heavenlies.

Abba Father, bless Joyce's ministry to unlock the spiritual doors to your throne. In Jesus's name, Amen.

Thanksgiving

It's very easy to give thanks in good times, but not in bad times. Phi 4:6 and Psa 100 touch my heart that we need to be in that spiritual maturity to give thanks IN ALL SITUATIONS.

The characters of David and Paul in the Bible point us to the secret of their victories and breakthroughs. Leave all your daily battles to God (2 Chro 20:15).

Pay attention to the warning in 1 Cor 10:8-11. Jesus has promised us the abundant life only if we follow God's words in action.

Enjoy your life by thanksgiving today!

Racism

Tommy Hilfiger was a guest at Oprah Winfrey show. On the show, Oprah asked him if the statements about race he was accused of saying were true. Statements like "if I'd known African-Americans, Hispanics, Jewish and Asians would buy my clothes, I WOULD NOT have made them so nice. I wish these people would *NOT* buy my clothes, as they (my clothes) are made for upper-class white people." His answer to Oprah was a simple "YES" where after she immediately asked him to leave her show.

God created us in His image. Success has inflated Tommy's pride to the point that Psalm 10:3-7 seems an accurate fit for his inner being. Deut 32:25 reminds us the judgment will come to pass.

Dear Lord, thank you for positioning Oprah to defend your truth and righteousness in this dark world. May the shocking treatment before the 22 millions Oprah Winfrey viewers would send Tommy to repent and deflate his secular success and find Your peace and restoration. Our dear Holy Spirit, guard our tongue to encourage and strengthen people we meet each day, deflate our ego and pride for Your kingdom. In Jesus name, Amen

In The Valley

Poem by Aaron Stout (Hill AFB, UT)

Thoughts are rambling on.
My mind wanders far astray.
What is going on?
I ask you here this day.

I know that you are with me,
just as you were before,
but what has happened to that zeal,
I once used to soar?

Other people are telling me,
You are heading in the right direction,
but why don't I feel this
wondrous comprehension?

Is it me, or is this normal?
Am I in the middle of a test?
Then Lord, reveal that to me,
that I may continue with the rest.

I am deep within the valley,
in desperate despair.
It is to you that I call,
to whom no one can compare.

Father I ask tonight
to set my spirit ablaze,
That everything I do
will become living light rays.

May my worship become free.
May my mind be refined,
that your glory will come forth
through this broken heart of mine.

Even though the circumstances
have not in anyway changed,
I am comforted by your mercy,
to which everything can be regained.

Thank you for that Lord,
for your everlasting grace.
I am still in the valley,
and yet illuminated by your face.
