Building God's Temple

Recently I noticed there are many Christian friends are facing career crises and by no means anyone is immune from it. In the recent series of Haggai sermons preached at Trinity Christian Church Singapore, it's timely reminder to reflect our spiritual health.

God repeatedly reminded us in Micah 6:14-15 and Haggai 1 that we are paying much attention to our own house and neglect the condition of God's temple in us (1 Co 6:19) and thus leading a fruitless and struggled live. Lets be serious about our faith walk and take action to stay on the right paths.

Heavenly Father, Your are the righteous God, the God that Abraham, Moses and Jacob served. We release our faith as the body of Jesus Christ and proclaim the promise that You will never forsake or leave us begging bread (Psalm 37:25), we confess our sin building our own house and neglect Your Holy temple in our heart. We thank you in advance for your grace, peace and unity in our family, and partnership in the re-building of our Holy temple. We trust anything is possible in Jesus name, Amen.

Spiritual Divorce

Divorce represents separation and love-less relationship. In reality, a married couple will consider the option when they no longer enjoy the relationship. God hates divorce (Mal 2:16), our spiritual relationship with God will hit the rock when we no longer enjoy His words.

How's your relationship with your spouse today? and God's? Our relationship with our spouse and Him will move into the reverse gear when we love-less.

Prayer: Abba father, you authored relationship and love. Teach us today to love you and our spouse more; release us from the bad experiences and forgive those who disappoint us. You have the perfect plan for our lives and Your truth is the only compass I ever need in life. Stir up our desire to love and communicate more with You and our loved ones, open our eyes to see the signs of troubled relationships around us. You are love and make us to love-more each day. In Jesus name, Amen. 

Spiritual Authority

Authority - The power or right to give orders, make decisions and enforce obedience.

As a child of God, baptised in water and Holy Spirit, we have acquired the spiritual authority over every aspect in our surrounding. However, many times we fail to enforce God's truth in our secular world and become the victims under Devil's deeds.

Dear Abba Father, we thank you for breaking the york of slavery in our lives, and liberated us from the enemy's captivity. May the truth of your spiritual authority imprint upon our hearts that we can exercise your authority in every situations, and wait for your judgement to come to pass according to your will. Remind us the given privilege and wait patiently. In Jesus name, Amen.
